Duiker Clean Technologies is a Dutch engineering company specialized in process combustion technology. Born out of the privatisation of the engineering branch of an equipment factory in 1972, Duiker has vast experience in the design, supply and after sales support of combustion equipment. The major application for its combustion process equipment is in sulphur recovery. The headquarters of the company are located in Wateringen, The Netherlands and currently Duiker Clean technologies has about 55 employees. Duiker Clean Technologies is focussing and active on the following businesses: Sulphur Solutions In the field of sulphur recovery, especially in refineries, ammonia is considered a contaminant and waste. To be able to handle this waste, Duiker developed the Stoichiometry Controlled Oxidation (SCO) technology. This allows for complete combustion of ammonia while limiting NOx-emissions.   Clean Energy Duiker’s clean energy solutions support the transition to the hydrogen economy and clean energy. Technologies that are based on more than a decade of experience with ammonia. The energy transition requires carbon free fuels and new infra structures that allow these new fuels to be transported and stored on the locations of the consumers. Ammonia could play a role The SCO technology has now been further developed for new applications in the process and energy industries, ammonia-to-heat and ammonia-to-hydrogen. With ammonia-to-heat, (green) ammonia can replace fossil fuels for high temperature applications and steam production. The ammonia to hydrogen converter (AHC) allows for highly efficient cracking of ammonia to hydrogen, by utilizing a slipstream of the ammonia as fuel.   Reducing Emissions Your license to operate is a valuable thing to maintain.
