Symposium “Hydrogen in Aviation & Space: Opportunities and Challenges”

13 March 2025 - 14 March 2025

On 12-13 March, the von Karman Institute (VKI) organizes a symposium on “Hydrogen in Aviation & Space: Opportunities and Challenges”. The symposium is being organized in cooperation with EUCASS and EASN. The symposium will be held at VKI in Sint-Genesius-Rode.

Themes of the symposium:

  • Hydrogen utilization for space applications enables knowledge and experience transfer of hydrogen to Aeronautics
  • Aeronautics drives the cost reduction (liquid) hydrogen by providing new investments to hydrogen-critical materials, technologies and procedures
  • The symposium investigates Synergies between Aerospace & Aeronautics, common and different objectives, lessons learned
