Like-mindedness during round-table discussion with hydrogen off-takers

In the hydrogen value chain, the end user (off-taker) plays a crucial role: as with any chain, you can pull on it, but you can’t really push. On Friday, November 25, we gathered seven key hydrogen off-takers at the FOD Economy: BASF and INEOS, TotalEnergies and ExxonMobil, Yara and OCI, ArcelorMittal and BHC. The goal was to address the concerns of hydrogen end users, together with the FOD Economy. It was particularly interesting to see how the conclusions from all the end users aligned: pricing, regulation, and support. Solutions should therefore focus on market stimulation, simplification, acceleration, and financing of both capex and opex. To be continued!
