WaterstofNet takes on secretariat of ambitious RH2INE network
WaterstofNet is proud to announce that from Octobre 2024 onwards, it will take over the coordination of the Rhine Hydrogen Integration Network of Excellence - or simply RH2INE. On Monday September 30, colleagues Bert and Tom received the 'key to the secretariat' during the RH2INE Conference in Duisburg. The overall aim of the network is to establish a zero-emission transport corridor in the Rhine-Alpine region, but it also pays attention to creating synergies with bordering waterways (i.e., the Danube) by using hydrogen as an alternative propulsion technology. A special focus on inland navigation is in place. Since 2019 the network is constantly growing, currently consisting of more than 35 public and private stakeholders from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, France, Switzerland and Germany. You will soon find out much more about the initiative through our channels, but take a look here for now to find out more.
