Air Liquide secures EU Innovation Fund grant for ENHANCE Project

Air Liquide has now officially signed the EU Innovation Fund grant agreement for its ENHANCE project. The company plans to modify one of its hydrogen production units in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges to use ammonia as a feedstock instead of natural gas. Additionally, Air Liquide will build a hydrogen liquefier based on its patented cryogenic technology. By reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 300,000 tons per year, we’re hoping ENHANCE will further contribute to the development of a low-carbon and renewable hydrogen supply chain in Europe.
