Dutch government grants 28 million euro to 9 projects for hydrogen in mobility

Within the SWIM subsidy scheme (Subsidieregeling Waterstof in Mobiliteit), the Dutch government granted 28 million euro  to 9 partnerships . Hydrogen in mobility is considered as one of the necessary solutions for zero-emission transport,  because of congestion of the electricity grid, the requirements for long driving range, heavy loads,..  More hydrogen filling stations will be added in the Netherlands before the end of 2027. Also 192 heavy vehicles, 10 passenger vans and 9 small hydrogen-powered vans will be added. The second SWIM-call will open in April 2025 with a deadline in May 2025 and has a budget of 40 million euro.
