Winners of first EU-wide renewable hydrogen auction sign grant agreements

... which brings us seamlessly to the next hydrogen auction. On April 30, 2024, seven European projects were chosen to receive EU financial support from the H2 bank following the first auction. On October 7, six of those projects have finalized their grant agreements. One project out of the seven that were selected decided to withdraw from the grant agreement process. The funding awarded will assist these successful bidders in covering the gap between their production costs and the prices that industrial users are prepared to pay for this emerging product. A second auction  is expected at the end of this year. So keep an eye on these channels!
