European Hydrogen Week Side Event
Hall 11, 2nd floor, Room 1124
Event description
Inspired by the AA nomenclature for batteries, a European consortium of 21 partners (including OEMs, fuel cell module suppliers and research, test, engineering and/or knowledge institutes) embarked in 2021 on a mission to develop an open standard for heavy-duty fuel cell modules in terms of size, interfaces, controls and test protocols, with the objective of kickstarting the use of fuel cells and hydrogen in the heavy-duty mobility sector (road, off-road, maritime, rail). To open up the market, fuel cell module suppliers will develop prototypes according to the standard and these prototypes will be tested for compliance with the standard. In March 2022, the StasHH consortium hit a milestone by successfully publishing the standard, and the first prototypes were developed and tested.
Do you want to know more about the specificities of the standard, and do you want to know who already produced the first prototypes? The StasHH consortium will present details about StasHH project (co-funded by the Clean Hydrogen Partnership) to you at the European Hydrogen Week, so if you are eager to lean more, please register for the event below.
