Accelera sets world record for longest hydrogen truck journey
One for the books! Accelera by Cummins has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled by a hydrogen fuel cell electric heavy-duty truck without refuelling. The hydrogen-powered H2Rescue truck completed a 2 906 km journey on the roads of California on a single fill. A 250 kW traction motor Accelera’s fuel cell engine and 168 kilograms of hydrogen, made the trip possible. The road to carbon-free journey has been paved. Click here for more information.
