Window to the Future: Hyoffwind starts construction

3, 2, 1 go! On February 18th, at Window to the Future-event in Zeebrugge, Virya Energy, Messer, and Hyoffgreen kicked off the construction of Hyoffwind— Belgium’s first 25 MW green hydrogen plant in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. By 2026, the plant will start producing hydrogen, cutting CO₂ emissions by 25 000 tons per year in mobility and industry. On the list of attendees: Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele, who emphasized hydrogen’s key role in Flanders’ energy future.
