Energy models for the reduction of greenhouse gases

2018 - 2022

Within the EPOC project, funded by the federal energy transition fund, fourteen Belgian research partners are joining forces to create energy models. The goal of the EPOC 2030-2050 project is to figure out the most cost-effective way to reduce greenhouse gases and to guarantee the reliability of the energy supply. The approach and results are carefully discussed with the Belgian energy sector. This will shed light on the Belgian energy future for 2030 and 2050 and support the political debate with scientific results.
