Hydrogen implementation in the North Sea region

2012 - 2015

Within the 'HyTrec' project, a number of regions (Flanders, South Netherlands, Bremen, Veijle in Denmark, Scotland, Southwest Sweden and Narvik in Norway) have started cooperation on hydrogen as an energy carrier. In addition to exchanging experiences with hydrogen refueling infrastructure and vehicles, a vision and strategy for cooperation on hydrogen in the North Sea region has been developed.

This strategy, laid down in the brochure "A Joint Hydrogen Strategy Framework for the North Sea Region", describes a SWOT analysis, targets for 2020 and an action plan for hydrogen as an energy carrier in the North Sea region.

WaterstofNet has drawn up the strategy document 'Joint Hydrogen Strategy Framework for the North Sea Region'.
