European REVIVE project proudly presents video
The REVIVE project - of which WaterstofNet is a part - proudly presents a video about its’ groundbreaking European project on hydrogen refuse trucks. Combining animation and interviews, it focuses on the advantages of these trucks. Follow one on its path through the city and harbour of Antwerp, highlighting several hydrogen refueling stops.
Two hydrogen trucks have been deployed in the Antwerp neighbourhoods of Hoboken, Wilrijk and Kiel for almost two years. The trucks ensure a silent zero emission waste collection, which means better air quality for waste collectors and citizens. They have already collected more than 5,500 tonnes of waste and driven over 18,000 kms, which equals a 31 tonnes CO2 reduction! (All REVIVE trucks combined have driven over 60,000 kms so far, which equals a 101 tonnes CO2 reduction.)
The two hydrogen refueling stations in Antwerp (DATS24 in Wilrijk and CMB TECH in the port of Antwerp) are visited in the video.
The interviewees are Jana Feske (Sustainable Mobility Consultant City of Antwerp), Jan Vidal (Truck driver city of Antwerp), André Beukers (CEO E-Trucks Europe) and Mirela Atanasiu (Head of Unit of Operations and Communication of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership).
In the REVIVE project, WaterstofNet coordinates the deployment of trucks in the European cities and is jointly responsible for the local communication of the project.
