Demonstration of 11 refuse trucks in 7 cities in Europe

2018 - 2024

Within the REVIVE project ('Refuse Vehicle Innovation and Validation in Europe'), 11 fuel cell refuse trucks are built and operated in 7 locations in Europe:  Antwerp, Breda, Groningen, Noordenveld, Veldhoven, Arnhem and Gothenburg.

For urban trucks in particular, there is an increasing need for zero emission solutions to comply with upcoming access restrictions imposed by cities as part of air pollution reduction strategies.

The role of WaterstofNet

WaterstofNet coordinates the deployment of trucks in European cities and is jointly responsible for the communication of the project.
