Hydrogen for internal logistics applications
Hydrolog
January 2020 - August 2021
Hydrolog involves mapping out possible types of internal hydrogen transport vehicles through a literature study and developing a business model for companies to get them started (TCO model). Demonstrations with the mobile hydrogen filling station of WaterstofNet show the application possibilities for participating companies.
The role of WaterstofNet
WaterstofNet is working on all hydrogen-related parts of the project together with VIL and the participating companies. In concrete terms, this means
- a broad literature study on the application possibilities of hydrogen within intralogistics,
- a TCO model with which companies can compare logistic applications on hydrogen with alternative forms of drive on a cost basis
- and the organization of a demonstration with a Terberg H2 yard tractor in the port of Antwerp.
