'Smart dHYstrict' aims to take local energy system to next level with hydrogen

In the 'Smart dHYstrict' project, Belgian and Dutch players will collaborate across borders on hydrogen in the built environment. They will investigate how to use hydrogen in a cost-efficient way to make a local energy system more sustainable and test this at two pilot locations in both countries. On October 3rd, all project partners of 'Smart dHYstrict' gathered in Turnhout for a kick-off meeting with European grant fund Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland. The project has several WIC members among its partners (Solhyd, VDL, Newes, Fluvius ) and is coordinated by WaterstofNet. The project will run for three years (link in dutch).
